Till The Sun Burns Out.
First Arm. The Seven Kids.

Seven little dots lined the top of dune. Seven figures slowly trekked across the sandy wasteland. Seven kids, tired and sick. The first was a tall slender boy, about seventeen. He had short messy and patchy hair. A cute looking boy aside from the scar's which ran down over his eye, across his cheek, and the last one going up from his chin and splitting into two at his lip. Gar.
The next was a girl, about fourteen. She was the shortest of the group and also the thinnest. She had one side of her hair long and the other down to her shoulders. She had a narrow face and a long bridge on her nose. Her eyes were sunken and empty. Rell.
Then another girl. She was about eighteen and the third tallest. She was not as thin as Rell but thinner than Gar. She had very long dark brown hair. Her arms were covered in bandages and her face very serious. Tox
The fourth a was the oldest one, about nineteen. He was the tallest one. He was well built with only a small scar on his cheek. His hair, messy and short. He was handsome but his face was dirty. A. Zero.
The fifth was another girl, as tall and as slender as Gar. Her age wasn't known by any of the others, but they assumed she was eighteen. She had short and messy blonde hair. Freckles, and thin lips. She had fairly wide hips and slim legs. Gin
Sixth. This one was a boy, about fourteen. A long skinny figure. A tattered hole filled cloak over his body. Arms, legs, chest, face, entire body, bandages. This one doesn't have a name, and he can't talk.
Seventh and the last. A girl same height and thinness as the nameless boy. Her body also covered by a cloak and bandages. Long strands of bright blonde hair streamed down from gaps in the bandages on her head. Only one of her eyes exposed, bright and blue. Her and the nameless one were to the only two of the group who were together, romantically. His.

Seven teenagers. Walking nowhere. Zero stared up at the blazing sun, bringing up his hand to obscure it partly. The sun, so hot, so bright. It kills out here. It kills. He looked back at Gin. She stared at him blankly as he stood there and looked at her as she walked past him he smiled at her. She stopped and didn't smile back.  Nameless and His past them. Zero's smile slowly faded from his face. Gin continued to look at him blankly. Then soon enough they were both standing in the sand as the rest continued walking. Moments past, lives got shorter, and they, well they just stared at each other.
"What?" Zero shattered the silence with the word.
   Gin just smiled at him.

As Gar walked at the front of the group of kids he looked back. He saw Zero and Gin standing there, staring at each other.
"Hey!" He shouted back at the two,
Gin and Zero both look towards Gar. He waved his hand up in the air and motioned for them to catch up. Zero and Gin jogged back up to the group. Gar turned away from them facing out down the descending side of dune they were slowly making their way across. Yesterday they ran out of water. Today they'd run out of food. At the bottom of this dune, between it and another was a small, black, square. Gar stopped for a second and held up his hand, and the others stopped, except Zero, who walked up to Gar.
   "What is it?"
"Look," Gar pointed down to the black square.
   "Think it's worth the risk?"
Gar looked back at the rest of them. Five tired, and worn out. He looked back to the black square. "We have no choice or we'll be gone."
   "Okay,"
Gar held up his hand and everyone stayed put. He and Zero slowly made their way down the hill. Drifts of sand flowed down the side of the dune. Zero pulled a large metal piece of pipe out from behind his back, from inside a makeshift shieth. Gar slipped a piece of glass with a bit clothe around the end of it for a handle. Slowly and cautiously they made they way into the valley between the tall dune. The far dune began to grow taller and taller until it block out the sun. Then they were there in the floor of the valley. Wind ripping through the crevasse whistling in their ears. The black square just a few feet in front of them.
Gar threw out his fist towards Zero and held it there. Zero compiled and they both began waving their fist in front of each other. Three times up and down. Zero, Scissors. Gar, Rock.  Zero cursed and looked over towards the black square.

Dark, empty, concrete, pipe laden hallways. Narrow and tall. Crates lined some of the walls and dust was everywhere. Lines painted on the ways with words above them. Barracks, Showers, Mess. No noise. A small stream of light pouring down from a open hatch. A small square hatch on the roof. Emergency exit. Zero, drops in.
He lands hard on the ground and stumbles a bit. He coughs as a cloud of dust entered his throat. He looks up from the floor, and can only see a couple feet down either sides of the hall. He looked at the lines painted on the wall. Red, blue, green, and lastly white. There was  a very cool breeze floating down the hall. Zero slowly climbed to his feet.
   "You alright?" Gar from above.
Zero looked up and flashed him a thumbs up. He sighed and wiped his chin. He began to slowly walk forwards into the dark hallway. He held his pipe in front of him ready for any unseen attacker. Suddenly his foot came crashing into something hard and it sent him to the ground again. He let out a gasp of surprise as he fell. His elbow scraped against something as he hit the ground. He quickly brought his elbow to his eyes to see how bad it was. White and flaked, just a scratch. He looked back to his feet to see what he tripped over and there inside a now open container sat gleaming in the little light the hallway had three handguns.

Gar crouched next to the opening. Waiting for something from Zero. He looked back up to the top of the dune. He could see Gin standing and the rest were sitting, just four little bumps on the top. He sighed and looked to his feet. He crashed down into the sand and sat there outstretching his legs, groaning as he did. His knees cracked as he did. He picked up a had full of sand and let it empty between the cracks in his fingers. The strands of sand falling were scattered through the air by the steady stream of wind.
   "Hey,"
Gar looked down into the hatch and saw Zero standing there looking up at him.
   "Get the rest, come down,"

Rell looked at the hatch opening. "Is it safe?"
"Yeah it looks like nothing's been down here in a long while," Zero said back up at her.
She sighed and began to climb into the opening. "Okay,"
Zero grabbed her legs and let her sit on his shoulder. He set her down on the ground. She looked around the small little bit of the hallway that she saw. She began to slowly walk forward down the hall. She saw the small container that Zero had toppled over. She saw the three guns, sparkling in the little light there was. She turned in shock towards Zero, as he helped Tox into the hall. Rell pointed towards the guns, "These...These are..."
"Guns, yeah," Zero set Tox on the ground snatching a quick glance at her ass.
Rell looked back at the guns. "Whoa,"

Tox looked at Zero looking at her ass. He looked up at her realizing she was looking at him. She stared at him for a minute and then walked over to Rell. She walked with an extra bit of swagger than usual and when she put her hand on Rell's shoulder she looked back a Zero with a suggestive look in her eye. Zero choked for a second and coughed. Tox laughed and looked down towards the guns.

Gar picked up one of the guns and held it for a second, looking it over. He looked up at Zero. "You think there's more?"
   Zero nodded, "Probably."
Gar nodded and rubbed his chin turning his eyes back to the gun. He loaded the guns back into case and closed it. "Right we'll take this let's get moving,"

The long hallway led towards a break. On direction according to the lines on the wall led to Gamma Labs. The other direction led to the white, and to Barracks #4. Shelves and more boxes lined the edges of the halls all the way to the labs. A door, the first door they saw. Steel and with five bullets holes dotting it's surface. Gar stopped in front of it and eyed it up. Zero walked up to him. Gar looked at him, and he smirked and nodded towards the door. Gar grimaced and readied his glass knife.
The door slowly opened. A small amount of light flowed in the absolute darkness. Gar stepped in slowly. He reached his arm to the wall just next to the door and felt around. Nothing, nothing, nothing, then his hand brushed over it. A small switch. He flicked the switch hopefully, but expecting nothing. In flash of brilliance the lights that made two rows along the cement roof just under the pipes, lit up. Gar smiled up at them. The room was a small meeting room from what Gar could tell. A steel table for about 20 and a shelf with a sink, a fridge, a microwave, and a broken coffee machine. along the side wall was a shelf with file boxes on it and next to that were some boxes stacked on top of each other.
Nameless sat with his back on the wall outside the room. He hadn't drank any water in two days. He had given it all to His. He looked at his bandaged hand and sighed. He looked up at the rest of them, all standing around whispering to each other. He wished he could still talk. He wished he still had a tongue. His sat next to him and rested her head on his shoulder. He looked at her. He bet she still wished she had depth perception. He looked away from her and at the wall. Red, Green, and then there was White. It had no label. Unlike there others which had their labels displayed every forty feet or so. He stood up and walked over to it. He stared at him as he did.
   "What is it?"
He stared at the white line and then looked down the hallway the way they had came. It was that way. He could feel it. He could feel lots of things. There was something special about it. It was pulling at him, and he couldn't resist the urge. Down the hallway he darted off.
   "Hey! Where are you going!?"
Everyone turned to see Nameless disappear back into the darkness of the hall. His looked back towards the group. She raised her eyebrows asking what to do. Tox walked up to her.
   "We better go get him,"
An they followed after Nameless. Gin looked over to Zero.
   "Think we should go to?"
Zero shook his head, "No, Tox and His can handle themselves."
   Gin nodded.
Gar's head poked out from the door and he smiled at them. Then noticed that Tox, His, and Nameless were all gone.
   "Where'd Tox and them go?"
"Nameless ran off, probably on one of his feelings again."
Gar nodded, "Well it's clear, come in."
The rest of them entered the room, leaving the door open for Tox and the others. Gar placed the gun box onto the table. He opened it and put the three guns and the nine magazines on the counter.
   "Okay, Three guns."
   Zero nodded.
"One for you," He passed on to Zero, "One for me," He left one sitting in front of him, "And the last one."
There was a moment of thought.
"Gin, you know how to fire a gun?" Gar asked her.
Gin looked over her shoulder, "Not really."
Gar pushed the gun aside, "One for Tox,"
Gin was standing in front of the shelf and was looking inside the file boxes and folders and small cases. She was hoping to find a map, or maybe something that said what this place was. Most of the boxes so far were either empty or full of blank paper. Third shelf down from the top there was a small file folder and inside was a folded piece of paper. She pulled it out and looked at it for a moment.
   "I think I found a map,"
Gar got up from the table and walked over to her. He grabbed the paper and opened it. It was a map. A small detailed map of the first level. Gar took the map and placed it on the counter.
   "Okay everyone come here,"
Rell came over from the fridge, which she had searched for anything to eat. She could only find rotted foods or piles of goo that used to be food. She had left them where they lay. She looked at the map. A mess of lines and small words. She couldn't read. Only Gar, Zero, and Gin could.
Gar looked over the map, searching for emergency exit. There were three, but only one was near a t-splitting hallway that led to a lunch room. Gar looked around the room. It was a lunch room. He looked down to the map. Armory, he was looking for the Armory. Down the hall, left, down that hall and the fifth door on the right, Armory.

Nameless stood before a large white door which sat at the end of the white line. He stared at it. It wasn't like the other doors in the facility. This one was an automatically opening door and had a keypad. The other doors were just valve opened doors. He stared at it. Whatever was through this door was something he needed to get. It was tearing at him now. He looked at the keypad. Then sounds behind him. It was His and Tox behind him running to catch up. The came out of the darkness and almost ran into Nameless.
"What...are...you...doing?" His asked him out of breath.
Nameless pointed to the door. Tox walked up to it and put her hand against it. It was cold, colder than it should be. She immediately drew her hand back from it.
   "What is it?" His asked.
   "It's cold."

"Okay Zero, you and Rell head to the armory and see if there's any good fire power in there," Zero nodded and took Rell as he headed for the door. "I'll go check the mess hall, see what I can find, Gin, stay here for when Tox and the others get back," Gar picked up the gun and handed it to Gin,"Give this to Tox when she shows up and send come meet me in the mess hall,"
   Gin nodded.
"Okay I'll see you in a bit," Gar waved as he walked out the door.

Gin  was sitting at the table and looked back over towards the sink. She wondered if it worked. She knew that it wouldn't, but maybe just this one time they'd be lucky. She got up to walk over to it when suddenly Tox came bursting into the room out of breath. She slammed down on the table and breathed heavily into it. She looked up at Gin who was staring at her.
   "What happened!?"
   "Where's Gar?"

Zero stared at the black bold letters on the dark green steal door. A-R-M-O-R-Y. Rell tugged at his arm.
   "What's it say?"
   "Armory,"
Zero grabbed the valve and with a breath, twisted it. It gave way much easier than Zero thought it would. the room was pitch black. Zero stepped in and reach for a switch and found it. As the light came on, Zero jumped back in shock. He had his pipe ready then realizing what he was looking at slowly lowered it. An top of a couple boxes lay the mostly rotted, dried out, corpse of a soldier. Zero put his hand out to Rell telling her to stay. He walked in and moved the body behind the boxes, hiding it from view.
   "Come in,"
Rell walked in and saw that the room was full boxes and on the walls sat several gun racks and on the back wall several gun lockers. The boxes had words written on them. A-M-M-U-N-I-T-I-O-N. She knelt down by the nearest one and flipped it open. It was filled with gun magazines. She looked up at Zero who smiled at her.
   "Jackpot."

The mess hall was a mess. Trash and rotting food was strewn everywhere. A couple bodies, dry and half rotted lay on the floor. The smell was horrible but not the worst thing Gar had smelled.  Two rows of six tables, on in the middle of the left row was shattered in half. The was a small area at the back for people to grab their food, and behind that through a small door sat the storage freezers for the food. He made his way across the cafeteria in hope that there would be some food that was not rotted enough to eat. He got to the door just as Gin and Tox came bursting into the room.
"Gar!" Tox shout as she threw open the door.
He whipped around to face them, "What is it!?"
"You got to come look at this."
Seven teenagers in the post apocalypse desert of what was once the world happen upon an abandoned military installation buried in the sand. But something is strange about the place, something in the air.

One thing I have to say is that you leap around with tenses a lot. Sometimes you're in present tense, other times you're in past tense... PICK ONE AND STICK WITH IT! XD Also, at times, your descriptions seem too much like descriptions. Sometimes, you just gotta leave it up to the reader to form a mental image.
I love the names and the diverse range of characters... I also really like the whole idea in general. It must suck to lack depth perception and the ability to speak! And I reeeaaally want to know what Gin and Tox are so worked up about... Keep it up! :D
